This scholarship is awarded to reduce the full-time tuition cost. The award is for a maximum of $2500/year per applicant. All information submitted will be held in confidence and used solely for the purpose of scholarship administration.
Requirements for this academic grant are:
1. The student must have had a GPA of 3.2 the previous school year.
2. The student must maintain a GPA of 3.2 throughout their school year at KLCA.
3. The student may not acquire more than 3 behavioral infraction forms during the entire school year at KLCA.
4. The student must not be found guilty of academic dishonesty.
5. The student’s family income must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
Failure to fulfill the requirements while attending KLCA will revoke the scholarship and the parent/guardian will be billed for the remainder of the school year. Failure to pay will result in transcripts being withheld.
All life is precious. In honor of Jessica (Jes), who faced adversity in her life from an early age and died too young at 28, we started a scholarship fund in her name. Jes once shared that she wanted to be a teacher, and though she didn't get that chance, what better way to honor her than a legacy in her name at a school that roots our youth in the Lord? We at KLCA are passionate about youth knowing their value is primarily established by the Lord, their Father and Creator. We hope that by attending KLCA, our students will root that truth deeply and go out into this world to face and overcome adversity knowing their Father is with them always. This fund will bless our KLCA students for years to come and be a conduit for empowering our youth to know just how precious they are, created uniquely and beautifully, to be a blessing in this world.
