Cooperation between educators, parents and students is absolutely essential if we are to fulfill our mission. In order to ensure the highest success, we’ve discovered there are some necessary building blocks. Therefore, the following requirements form the essential components in our admissions process:
Mr. Noah Wharton, Geography and History Teacher:
"I am grateful for KLCA because of the friendships that have been built while being here and to see God's plan unfolding. I have been able to share my faith while sharing my passion for history. The curriculum teaches history from a biblical perspective and uses scripture to back up historical events and shows that God has been in control since the beginning . All in all, KLCA has been amazing and I could not ask for a better group of people to work with and serve God with."
Mrs. Melissa Feather, Parent:
"King’s Light has been a blessing to our family in a time when our son needed in person instruction and support as well as the assurance that he was a getting a faith based education. The staff at KLCA has been amazing and are really more like family. It is very obvious they truly care about each student as individuals and also as a whole!"
Honey Streightiff, Student
“My name is Honey Streightiff, I am a sophomore at Kings Light Christian Academy (24-25). It is my first year attending a Christian school, and it has been a significant change in my life. Throughout my elementary, middle school, and 9th grade years, I attended public school sectors. In my 8th grade year of middle school, things started to go downhill. I stopped focusing on school, my own well-being, and the things that really mattered. Instead, I became distracted by influences that weren’t healthy for me or my family. I was very popular in public schools, and I cared too much about what others thought of me. My main focus was on impressing people rather than building a relationship with God or helping others do the same. When my mom told me that she was going to transfer me to a Christian school to help me stay focused on my education and my faith, I was terrified. I was afraid they would judge me for who I was and the mistakes I had made, thinking that I wouldn’t fit in. I assumed the students there were perfect and had no struggles like I did. But after the first few weeks of attending Kings Light Christian Academy, I quickly realized I wasn’t alone in my struggles. Everyone there had their own challenges, and they were all on their own unique journey with God. The more I interacted with my classmates and teachers, the more I began to understand that no one’s life is perfect. The environment at Kings Light was one of compassion, understanding, and encouragement. Instead of judgment, I found support and acceptance. I started to see the importance of building my relationship with God and learning how to live according to His will rather than worrying about the opinions of others. Over time, I’ve noticed changes in myself. I’m learning to focus on what truly matters: my faith, my education, and my relationship with my family and friends. I’m discovering that I don’t have to be perfect to be loved by God and that He has a plan for my life, even in the midst of my imperfections. I still have challenges to face, but I’m no longer alone in my journey. I have a new perspective on life, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of a community that encourages me to grow closer to God each day.”
