King's Light Christian Academy (KLCA) is a private, non-denominational Christian school in Culpeper, Virginia. King's Light is well positioned to serve the families of the Culpeper, Madison, Orange, Rappahannock, and Fauquier counties.
King's Light Christian Academy (KLCA) employs a unique educational model that combines the best of traditional education with a strong partnership between the school and the home, in which the student is the greatest benefactor. Students attend classes on campus in the central classroom three days a week and continue their studies in the satellite classroom on alternate days. Smaller class sizes allow for greater instructional effectiveness and better use of classroom time. Satellite classroom study is monitored by parents who foster greater independence and responsibility. Parents work under the direct supervision of the professional educator (teacher) who provides all direct instruction in the central classroom.
King's Light Christian Academy (KLCA) will offer two diploma options, a Standard Diploma, and an Advanced Diploma. King's Light Christian Academy's diploma requirements are aligned with graduation requirements established by the State of Virginia. KLCA will pursue accreditation and is operating accountable for strong standards in academics, character development, student activities, school administration, and governance.
